Speed vs. Power (The Heat Struggle)
Here is the thing about line speed: the faster your conveyor moves, the less time the ink has to cure. To fix that, you need more power density. We’ll help you nail down the voltage and wattage so it plays nice with your ballasts. But there’s a catch. More power means more photons, but it also meansa lot more heat. If your cooling fans or water-jackets aren’t up to the task, you’re going to fry your substrate. We make sure the power matches your cooling capacity so you don’t have to worry about smoke coming off your line.

We use high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because regular glass sucks up UV light instead of letting it through. Depending on what’s in your ink, you might need shortwave or longwave output. Sometimes we even “dope” the lamps to shift the spectral peak to exactly where your chemistry needs it. And we’re obsessive about the fit. We build these to your exact length and diameter. If there’s even a tiny gap between the lamp and the reflector, you’re leaking light. That’s just wasted money and electricity.
